Jose Colon

With over a decade of experience in accounting and financial leadership roles, I’ve helped companies from retail brands to global media groups gain clarity, stay compliant, and grow with confidence. I launched JIC Accounting Services to bring that same level of expertise to small businesses, freelancers, and e-commerce sellers looking for a trusted bookkeeping partner.

Throughout my career, I’ve managed everything from payroll and month-end closes to revenue forecasting, audits, and process improvements. I led teams and oversaw millions in revenue. Before that, I held Accounting Manager roles across fast-paced industries like media, retail, and real estate.

But here’s the truth: no matter how big or small your business is, your books matter. I started this firm to help business owners save time, reduce stress, and make better financial decisions without the overwhelming pressure that comes from running a business.

Throughout my career, I have developed a strong reputation for accuracy, attention to detail, and dedication to helping individuals and businesses maintain healthy and compliant financial records.

My background includes managing complex budgets, analyzing spending trends, preparing detailed financial reports, reconciling accounts, and providing clear, strategic guidance to help clients make informed financial decisions. I hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a CPA track.

With strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, I am dedicated to serving a diverse client base and ensuring that every client feels understood and supported.
